Description
Named after the Innsbruck Winter Olympics of 1964, the Innsbruck Inn is a classic Vermont inn, ideally located close to Stowe Mt. Resort and the end of the Stowe Rec Path. This inn was built by the current owner’s family in 1973 and has never before been offered for sale. Situated on the West Branch River, the Innsbruck offers 24 keys and a 5 bedroom chalet. You’ll find spacious rooms within the main complex, most averaging 420 square feet, with direct access from the central hall or out to an exterior patio or the wrap-around deck on the second floor. There are two larger suites to accommodate larger parties or for those who like a little extra room while on vacation. The chalet sits just back from the river; enjoy the sounds of the river flowing by and lovely views of the covered bridge. All 5 bedrooms are well-sized and the chalet offers a true feel of skiing in Stowe from its original heyday. Aside from the spacious accommodations, you’ll find a vintage bar and dining room on the lower level with a wood-burning fireplace anchoring one corner. Adjacent to the dining room you’ll find a full restaurant kitchen, with a walk-in cooler and direct access to the exterior for deliveries. Something for every season, the Innsbruck features a large heated in-ground swimming pool, two exterior hot tubs surrounded by handcrafted Vermont stonework, paddle tennis court, fitness room with hot tub and sauna, and a game room. A rare opportunity to own a part of the history of Stowe.
